Samaná El Limón
El Limón waterfall and Bacardi Island Cayo Levantado.
We will depart from Viva at 6:00 am to begin our adventure through the amazing landscapes that this island offers us. After approximately 3 hours of traveling through the astonishing nature and typical life of the villages in the Dominican Republic, we will arrive at Las Cañitas pier, in the south of Samaná Bay, where we will take a boat to sail for 40 minutes to the town of Samaná. We will board the Safari truck to visit a typical Dominican farm, where we will observe the preparation of cocoa and coffee, among others, and then we will go directly to the ranch. We will ride a horse for 35 minutes to El Limón waterfall, the most impressive waterfall on our island. We will descend the 150 steps of the waterfall (not recommended for people with heart problems) to enjoy a refreshing 45-minute swim. Back at the ranch, we can enjoy a delicious typical lunch. We will take the Safari truck again to return to the Samaná pier and embark towards Cayo Levantado, the famous Bacardi Island, where we will stay until 4:00 pm. Departure from Cayo Levantado by boat to Las Cañitas and finally the return by bus.
